1. Initial Cognitive Consultation (Telephone – 30 minutes)

£60 – A focused discussion to understand concerns, symptoms, and goals. Ideal for people unsure whether a full assessment is needed.

Includes:

  • 30 minute telephone consultation
  • Screening questions
  • Advice on next steps
  • Signposting if a full assessment is not required

Best for: early concerns, reassurance, triage

2. Cognitive Consultation for relatives and carers (Telephone – 30 minutes)

£60 – A supportive, focused conversation for relatives or carers who are concerned about changes in memory, thinking, or day‑to‑day functioning in a loved one. This session helps you understand whether a full cognitive assessment is needed and what the next steps might be.

This consultation is ideal if you are:

  • Noticing early changes in memory or behaviour
  • Unsure whether to seek a formal assessment
  • Wanting professional guidance before approaching your GP
  • Supporting someone who is reluctant to seek help
  • Trying to understand what is “normal ageing” versus something more concerning

includes:

  • 30‑minute telephone call
  • Discussion of your concerns and observations
  • Advice on whether a full assessment is appropriate
  • Guidance on how to approach the conversation with your relative

Best for: providing clarity and reassurance without committing to a full assessment.

3. Remote Cognitive Assessment (video or telephone)

£200–£250 – A structured cognitive evaluation delivered remotely, with a clear written summary.

  • 60–75 minute video/telephone assessment with Consultant Psychiatrist
  • Standardised cognitive testing adapted for remote delivery
  • Brief collateral discussion (with consent)
  • Written summary letter with findings and recommendations

Best for: people who prefer remote assessment or live outside Lincolnshire.

4. Comprehensive face-to-face Cognitive Assessment

£400–£500 – A detailed, in person evaluation with a GP ready report and tailored advice.

  • Face to face clinical assessment with Consultant Psychiatrist
  • Cognitive testing battery
  • Collateral interview
  • Mood and Functional assessment
  • GP-ready report
  • Clear recommendations and management plan

Best for: Diagnostic clarity, complex presentations, and families needing a full clinical picture.
